Grumman Widgeon in the UK?

A few years ago I recall a Grumman Widgeon or two being stored in the UK or under rebuild. Any idea what happened to these?

Would be great to see a Widgeon or Goose over here.

Would that be the one that Melvyn Hiscock flew in on it’s return to the US?
He gives a very entertaining talk on it.

Perhaps he’ll be along to confirm or deny it?

John

That was an Albatross, not a Widgeon

The Biggin Hill example left to the U.S . The Spanhoe machine is now in Florida and the two rebuild projects headed to France for a museum from memory .
