Welcome Bkonner. I live in the L.A. area, and you’re correct about spotting/commerical aviation not being a big hobby in the U.S. I have a single solitary cousin that I talk commercial aviation with, and that’s it. Mind you, I have a decent sized family. Every time I go up to Imperial Hill near LAX, everybody up there seemingly is British, either living in the U.S. or visiting. It’s too bad, but what can you do? I flew into/out of Logan once a few years back. I don’t remember too much of it. I do know that one of my favorite pics on A.net is of a BA 777 in the Landor livery taken at BOS. The backdrop of these old-school houses with snow on the rooftops is amazing.
