The forth location visited during my Northern Aircraft Preservation Society / The Aeroplane Collection 51st reunion weekend was the visitors centre at Ringway. The one aircarft I didn’t look at was the Concorde a sthat was inside and being used by a wedding party. Of the aircraft outside it was the Nimrod that had my attention as it was the one type I’ve worked on. I even think I may have bored the guide with my comments on the heli-telly pod and the TERMA pods under the wings.
Its probably only me who’s bothered (Or even noticed) that the TERMA pods under wings are on the wrong side

The Trident really needs to be inside. Despite the de-humidifiers inside the fuselage it is obviously suffering from the Manchester rain.

I can’t imagine this bus being popular with visitors from London but its just as much a part of an airline passenger’s experience as is the airliner.
