This bit surely is a cause for concern ‘This problem happened before but hasn’t come up lately’
From WIX:
“At the CAF West Houston Wing open house last April the pilot was complaining that he didn’t think it was working when he arrived. He said only the left fuel gage was going down even though he had switched tanks a couple times on the way in. Sure enough when they checked the tanks, the right tank was completely full and the left tank was way down”

Got away with it to a certain degree i would say.I wonder if it goes up next time it will only keep to the range of one tank, just in case.

If it had happened once before and you say they fixed it -they didn’t ! The fuel selector is pretty fundamental in keeping the aircraft in the air.

Aha not a crash – a forced landing – execution looks perfect. Prop clearly wasn’t rotating on touch down. We’ll done that man – some excellent skill in saving the aircraft! :applause:

A local news video here, but not much more info
Nobody hurt, which is the main thing.

He actually landed at an airport, altho *airport* may be stretching it a bit. I had a look on Google.. not only is the runway also the taxiway, it’s also a road with cross streets…
