The North East Land Sea and Air Museum at Sunderland – formerly the North East Aircraft Museum – has a huge surplus of donated books. We can’t fit them all into our library so we’re offering them for sale over the weekend of 26 – 27 October. There are over 1000 books with an aviation theme and several hundred more ranging from military to children’s books. All proceeds to museum funds.
With prices starting at just 50p, come along and pick up a bargain. If you do find a rare book in amongst this lot, please remember that we are a charity and play fair. 🙂

We have started sorting the books out ready for this weekend’s sale. There are thousands of books for everone’s tastes, all for sale at bargain prices from just 20p. Loads of magazines at 10p each.
There must be over 2000 aviation related books, some dating from 1910. Got to be worth a visit

I hope you don’t mind me bumping this up the listings but with just a week to go before the book sale, we’d like to give it the widest possible coverage. Please tell all your friends. Aviation related books are flooding in with over 100 donated this week alone. I will be sorting through them all next week and will let you know how many there are. Could be worth a trip.
