The A310 is pretty old technology these days. It was based on the A300B4, which even pre-dated the A300-600R. For this reason, I understand that it is no longer seen as an economical aircraft for most airlines vis-a-vis the likes of the 767-200.

Personally speaking though, I would love fly on an A310.
