While the use of the possessive apostrophe is technically erroneous, it is more than one Avro 748, but less than two! The complete, but partly dismantled Avro 748 G-BEJD under rebuild and restoration by SAHG, and Mike Davey’s considerable HS.748 cockpit and nose of G-ORAL.

The ‘flight simulator’ is located in the Jetstream 41, so that aircraft does effectively get a double billing!

I can immediately think of 5 active forumites who will be there and involved, wont state who so as not to upset anyone I miss out! As stated in the initial post should be a good day out, with the opportunity to take a very close look at the Avro 748 and Britannia restoration projects while both are still at ground level. It would appear that the event is about raising funds for the projects and highlighting the heritage of the site and the aircraft, rather than providing a family entertainment day out, as the ‘Air Fair’ was last summer.

HS748’s what? Cockpit?

Or did they mean more than one HS748?

Hint: the plural case has no apostrophe, they used the singular possessive case.
