All those writing about Spitfires
All those who own flyable Spitfires
All those who own static display only Spitfires
My own estimate based on all of the above elements, would be between £100 and £150 million.

I guess you can do whatever you like with them! The likes of the Late Patrick Lindsay was inclined to use his for the occasional commute to an auction site -not everyone who owns a Spitfire/Seafire indulges in ‘displays’ !

Sorry I thought the idea of all spitfires was display only in one form or another either with the birds or with the bods on the ground ??.
Or have I missed something ??

You’re nearly spot on ! I’d arranged to fly in to Thorney to-day, the a/c being positioned at Garston near Colerne. The weather there was a bit thick so, I drove to Thorney for a shufti. Rain was in the wind so I left early………….
