I’ve aquired an attitude indicator from, I think, a Sea vixen or Scimitar and I was wondering if anyone had any information or knew where I could obtain some info on the attitude systems used in these aircraft. Looking on the web it seems a Ferranti type 100 inertial platform was possibly used to provide the input for the attitude indicator? although I can’t find any conclusive info. I would like to get the instrument running again so if anyone could help set me off in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks for that! If anyone has a manual with part numbers in for the roller blind indicator and its associated MRG I would love to see it,
thanks again

It appears now that I may be actually looking for a master reference gyro rather than the inertial platform. If anyone has any info on this it wpuld be great!
Thanks
