Hi There
The Museum of Army Flying has kindly had this propeller donated to it for promotional purposes. I would like to write an information sheet about it and wondered if anyone could tell me anything about it? Any information would be gratefully received.

A huge thank you to everyone for your help in this matter. I have now got a fact sheet ready for the propeller just in time for the Army Air Corps Families Day this weekend. Thank you all again. I really appreciate it. If you are ever in the area ask for Becky pop in and I’ll buy you a cuppa.
Best Regards
Rebecca (Museum of Army Flying)

Correct. NZCAA Airworthiness Leaflet A.65 issue 12, March 1966 lists Z5701 as approved for Cirrus Minor II fitted to Auster J1 and Gemini

Don’t recognize the specific drawing number, but with a 55 inch diameter and 4.78 pitch, it’s late 20s early 30s era. Certainly from something contemporary to the Bulldog.

The LAA list the Z5701 as fitted to a couple of Auster J1’s powered by a Blackburn Cirrus Minor II. I am not sure about the /2/b part but it certainly looks Auster.
