German undercarriage lever

Does anyone know what aircraft type this undercarriage lever is from? Other than the writing being in German I know nothing about it and have been struggling to find suitable cockpit images of German aircraft to begin trying to identify it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Ian, that’s fantastic. I tried looking at a few cockpit photos, including the Ju 88, but couldn’t see a match. But then again, I couldn’t find good images of the side panels. Thanks so much!

Agreed. You have cracked it. It has been bugging me. The vacant hole is the position of the tailwheel locking switch.

Here’s a close up. It has the end of the next gate for the Landenklappen. What an excellent language German is.

I’m thinking Ju88 as it’s anodised. A cockpit line drawing shows the sprung gate at the end. I’ll try and photograph the book. It looks dug up and the kind of thing one would be pleased to own!
