Jet engine relic went for £320.00

What’s left of the Canberra should be WH946 from memory.

Auction today,I had a look at the Wessex it’s completely gutted and the skins are massively corroded no seriel numbers to be seen,the b6 is a fuselage from behind the cockpit to just before the tail.

Lots 229 and 230 on page 5 of the above link .

Here you go – there’s that fuselage section and the mortal remains of a jet engine shown as well

Can you provide a link? The Wessex is a MK.1 section that was formerly with the museum at Cleethorpes. The ‘fuselage section’ is probably the remains of teh Canberra B.6 fuselage they had . The Tallboy desperately belongs at East Kirkby.
