What's the best way to sell WW2 aviation material ?

A friend has asked me to seek advice on how best to sell some WW2 factory aircraft documents.

eBay is the obvious but can anyone suggest other alternatives ? He believes his items are of interest and wishes to try and get the best return on his items. Maybe eBay is the best option.

Any help will be gratefully received and passed on.

What are they? If they are a unique record – factory drawings not generally known to exist, for example – then please encourage your friend to lodge copies with the appropriate collection before selling the originals as artifacts.
Of course, the most money by far would be made by putting them on e b*y as ‘genuine original Avro Spitfire bomber jet documents’, or so it would seem.

HI
Scan them as hi rez tiff files and sell them as a cd/dvd on e bay.
When the sales dry up sell the originals on e bay, a collector will still buy them as they are original and collectable.
Cheers
Jerry
