For interest, theres a workshop / warehouse within the complex of what used to the Gillow furniture works in Lancaster which was constructed using Mosquito wing spars as the roof timbers
They’re still there. Not sure if they could be used though….I’ve not seen them myself but a friend has.
Gillows made Mozzie parts during WWII.

I’ve been in a barn built onto the side of a house in the south of France that has Waco and Horsa wing spars as rafters and Horsa unloading ramps as lintels… 🙂

In flypast Stuart Howe published some articles about Mossie relics, one of them was the story
Of a house extension built from fuel tank stress doors. He mentioned that the inspection hatches
Were still to be seen.
We have Ju52 wingspars that served the same function as roof supports.
