Have i missed a show?

I live in Welwyn Garden City and have been hearing unusual aircraft sounds all day. I just heard a Merlin and this spurred me on to go the window and just saw an aeroplane with ecliptical wings(!) go over that it was attached to!
What’s going on??

After their display the Blades buzzed Panshanger a couple of times, landed for a cup of tea, a piece of cake and a natural break and went on their way 40 minutes later. Heard a Merlin rumbling around but didn’t see anything.

The Battle Proms are underway at Hatfield House, The Blades performed earlier in the evening, and the Grace Spitfire displayed about an hour ago.
