What is the width of the yellow band on the Chipmunk fuselage.

Thanks T21 it has the same code as WP782 the E was in front of the roundel on that one ,see photo in Air Britain digest summer 1996 page 52.

Yellow T-bands were normally 3 feet width . WP784 was coded “E” with 5RFS (Source “Aviation in Birmingham” by Geoffrey Negus/Tommy Staddon. The code letter was black situated between the T-band and just aft of the fuselage roundel.

Just a reminder that we are trying to trace the codes for WP784 at 5RFS at Castle Bromwich if anyone should know them for this Chipmunk.

Chipmunk WP784 was used by 5 RFS at Castle Bromwich what was its code did it have a single letter or two or a letter and number can anyone help especially with a photo.Yellow band now sorted.
