Panshanger Airfield Historical Assesment by GAAC closing date 16th July

I dont know whether this has already been mentioned but as the closing date is the 16th of July I feel it is worth highlighting.

Dear Member of the GA Community,

Atkins have requested the help of the General Aviation Awareness Council with the historic assessment of Panshanger Airfield. Atkins has been commissioned by the Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council to undertake a historic assessment of Panshanger Airfield and its immediate environs. The study will establish whether and to what extent the site, its buildings and its immediate surroundings are of architectural and historic significance/value.

This is an important survey and our responses are vital, to ensure that General Aviation interests and the importance of Panshanger Aerodrome are properly relayed to Welwyn and Hatfield Council as they review responses to their recent consultations on its potential closure. The GAAC urges you to take the time to complete the questionnaire linked below also forwarding it to your members for completion.
