Spitfire XiX & XIV Prop & Spinner- need help!

Hello!
Is it possible that there were two types of propellers used on Spitfire XIX (also XIV and XVIII) ?
I have made such observation , that on “wartime” planes prop blades had narrower tips. On “post war” tips are wider and have more “brutally” look- just like on contemporary Hoffman’s replacements.
It is rather not an effect of optical illusion and complex nature of airscrew geometry, especially when viewed from various angles, I think.
Of course (excuse my ignorance) “wartime” and “post war” terms are very conventional, and results from the scant reference material at my disposal.
What types (and diameters) of 5-bladed airscrew were on use on these Spitfire models?
Also, I observed that two types of spinners were used:
-one with 5-locks , each just forward blades, on front segment of spinner
-second , with 10 locks located in pairs between blades ( analogically to Mk.IX).
Did exist any rules of use, eg. on aircraft from particular batches etc..?

Excuse my poor English!
Sincerely
FzJgr.

Hi,
I just bought a blade marked RA 10379/RTS which supposedly have been mounted on the Swedish Mk XIX (S 31) according to the seller.
And as far I have found information the Mk XIX had these?

Thanks for a great place of knowledge.
Best regards
Fredrik

Spitfire Mks. XIV, 18 & 19 were originally fitted with Rotol R19/5F5/1 propellers with a diameter of 10’ 5” using RA10127 or RA10130 Jablo blades and could use 5CM/1 or 5CM/2 spinners.

Spitfire Mks.21, 22 & 24 were fitted with Rotol R14/5F5/2 propellers with a diameter of 11’ using RA10129 Jablo blades and a 5CM/2 spinner.

It would appear that some aircraft originally fitted with the R19/5F5/1 propeller were later retro fitted with the R14/5F5/2 prop.

What the difference is in shape between the blades and spinners I could not say.
