yes, Stirling.. when I said ‘more school boy stuff’, I wasn’t being insulting if that’s the way I came across, just that ive discovered how to load pics and just wanted to show some of my odds/ends with people who have similar interests …apologies.
I was told by IWM back in the seventies when I sent them drawings, the main label wasn’t necessarily undercarriage…surely this would have come from the main undercarriage? its a bit damaged but was curved originally.
I also have a large brass/bronze gyro somewhere in the remains of its ‘frame’, has ‘teeth’ around the outside and appears to have cut/burnt itself into the frame, I was told this could be from main compass or auto-pilot?…both crash parts

Sorry, just had to ‘bump’ .. can no one really identify this ? i’m gobsmacked considering there is an incredible reconstruction of at least the foreward fuselage/cockpit section being worked on….:cool:
