Question for Mark12…Geoffrey Page's Spitfire IXe

Hi;

Just a quick question if I may. Is there a known serial for Geoffrey Page’s Spitfire Mk IXe as shown on the wiki page link…

I searched around the net and been through all of my references, but have drawn a blank. I imagine the codes were AG-P, but the serial eludes me!

Thanks for the reply. I recently sold my set of 2nd TAF books, and I thought that they might shed some light on this…seems that they didn’t! I did wonder if the serial might be unknown, but maybe someone out there may have the answer. I’ll continue to keep my fingers crossed.

Click on the photograph and it will enlarge. Under the nose you can see Page’s initials, AGP.

Neither 2nd TAF or Combat Codes gives a serial number so it is almost certainly not known.
