I have a triple brake gauge ref number aho15684. Of course it was sold as Spitfire, which I did not believe when I bought it. Not been able to find a list of AHO numbers. Anybody know what type (or types) it would have been fitted to?
Thank you.

I think 130psi for the brakes is fairly common it’s the top scale that seems to alter based on the source pressure for the system. I think Lincolns and possibly Lancasters with the Lincoln brake mod went up to about 450psi at source.

You can fit them in a Spitfire – particularly the later types with the bigger brakes.
I think those are Vampire/Jet Provost and similar.

Thank you 1/8th,
so that confirms my initial thought, NOT Spitfire! I wonder why everything is labelled Spitfire? It was not even an attempt to hike the price in this case as it was cheap enough.
Perhaps I should have said the top scale reads to 470psi and the Port and Starboard read to 130psi, this might narrow down the type/types that this belongs to?

As if by coincidence I was just looking at the pneumatic diagram for a Spitfire and it has the triple gauge listed as AH4040. AHO denotes it’s a Dunlop unit.
