Wow, what a great aircraft!
Historic Flight Foundation brought it’s Spitfire Mk IXe to our local field…they were offering rides in the RAF-marked B-25. But for me the star of the show was the Spitfire in Czech markings.
Unlike most warbird events, you could go right up to the aircraft for a close inspection and I got a great view of the cockpit. It was perfect. It looked to be all original and was the closest I’ve been to A Sopitfire or any Mark. Thanks to the HFF and Mr. Sessions for bringing it and allowing the public to examine the aircraft at close quarters.
