Restorers/ rebuilders needed for TV series

A enquiry has come my way, and off the cuff, there seem to be various individuals and groups on the forum who could be considered.

” The basic idea is for a series like Grand Designs but without the buildings. Instead we are looking for enthusiasts who are pouring all their time, love and money into restoring classic boats, cars, planes, motorbikes et. Ideally we are looking for items with an historical heritage or interesting backstory and we are keen for these to be passion projects that take time and enthusiasm rather than big grant funded projects – for example one story we already have is of a man who has brought an old search and rescue boat that used to rescue airmen shot down in ww2. So far the project has taken 10 years and cost £20,000.

After looking at your website I wondered if you might be able to help point me in the direction of any aviation stories and projects that you have come across or could perhaps of any other places that would be worth looking? ”
