I am currently in the process of putting together a potential new documentary series about restoration and I am on the look out for possible stories to feature. I am looking for amateaur restorers who have an ambitious aviation restoration project that they are struggling to finish because of financial or time pressures. Ideally we are looking for real passion projects – labours of love where the restorer has invested all their time, love and money into restoring an item of historic value or something with an interesting back story.
If anyone can help me by suggesting projects or perhaps you have a project of your own that suits what I am looking for them please get in touch at kate.owen@indusfilms.com
Thank you very much

How’s about an airfield Control tower? Definitely a labour of love and unfortunately a massive financial strain too 🙁

No vested interest any more, but Mosquito prototype W4050; arguably one of the most important preserved aircraft in the country, and currently under restoration.

Four for me
Tony Agar’s Mosquito at Elvington
David Collins recreating the Hornet
The Stirling Project
The last Trident 1C at SunderlandRegards
Thanks for the Stirling vote Dave:D
For my part I’d like to recommend David Collins with his Hornet as he’s had to relearn deHavillands manufacturing methods and done so to a very high standard
