Trip to Denmark for R5679

I will being flying out to Denmark tomorrow for the ceremony to commemorate the crew of R5679 and the opening of a memorial room in Gronhoj to Allied aircraft lost over Denmark. I hope to post some pictures here when I return.

I got your email and would definitely like to see the files you mentioned and am looking forward to seeing photo’s of the weekend. You’ve done a wonderful job of pulling all of this together in the way that you have and I’m immensely pleased that the little bit I was able to give you on Alexander Cormack has been of assistance. Hope all goes well for you.

A search for R5679 or Alexander Cormack will point you in the right direction. The gist of this is it’s about the crew of R5679 (a 61 Squadron Lancaster) and their loss over Denmark.
