Paul Alen buys a V-2

I saw this on a regional news website. No important details…like who he bought it from (would that would be too much to ask)…or for how much.

I’ve seen them fire one of the 88s, which I think were restored by the same shop as the V2.

Its been part of the collection for a loonngg time.

The FHC is in the process of building a pit to display the V2 upright. They expect to have on display next month. It will be displayed next to the 2 V1’s and the exIWM Me 163 Komet.

I don’t think they will be flying this one.I did see them fire the Sherman tank gun when I was there recently. It was pretty loud and impressive. The collection also has three 88mm field guns, that I am sure could be fired as well.
