hi chaps i hope you can help me find out what this tail wheel is from i recently acquired this with other wheels i can make out on the rim the general tire & rubber co assem no 204-a702m no 98-25272 ser no 216 ill try to put some pictures on it has rockford on the axel bolt head thanks mr linny

if like the Harvard. 3 screws aid removal of cover plate. Valve sits behind it.

it has some give in it but there is no valve ?

It’s a standard American 10″ Smooth Contour tailwheel, fitted to a variety of aircraft, eg early Harvards, Curtiss Hawk 75’s, P-40B’s and C’s, etc.
