Valiant cockpit on the move (No not to Cockpitfest!)

The Valiant cockpit/nose section, for long occupying Brooklands ‘Strat chamber’ has been moved out to the Wellington hangar. The ‘Strat chamber’ is to be renovated. Video of the move.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ais2rrUCHcI

You can see it was done with experienced people, not a hard hat or Hi viz anywhere to be seen.

What a super video – it really emphasises the planning and effort involved in moves that can too easily be taken for granted. Nice too that the Valiant will be easier to view – brings back memories of the 60s when many were based at Gaydon.
