Hi,
On a Dutch site there is a, what seems, an oxygen cylinder for sale. Can anyone tell if this is a cylinder that was used on Lancasters? And if so, what was its function?

It is a Air Ministry style emergency air bottle.. They were used in all the heavy bombers and others..

looks like a personal “walk round” oxy supply for when a crew member had to disconnect from the aircraft supply to move about, for example a trip to the Elsan. So yes would have been used on Lancasters along with many other types.
