Browning .303

Hi All
Not sure this is the correct place to post this but here goes – A friend of mine has a deactivated Browning .303 machine gun it has BSA 1940 stamped on top of it and as he is not really into weapons has asked me to find out what it may be worth as he wants to sell it but isn’t sure what to ask for it, as he doesn’t have access to the net I thought I’d ask the question.
It seems to me to be in very good condition and comes with a deactivication certificate.

Thanks RR.

Is it an aircraft version or does it sit on a tripod? Tripod versions (sorry I don’t know the model number) sell for around £1k depending on condition and what comes with them.
