Biggles is coming to DVD

All 44 episodes from Granada in 1960.

This is way before my time, I have never seen the series. Did Granada use real aeroplanes in the making of this series?

Can’t help with the use of Aircraft in the series,but that website brought back memories of TV programmes from my youth. Two of which had an aviation theme and i do not remember seeing

‘Fly into Danger’ and ‘Manhunt’
interesting browsing.Thanks
