What mark of Seafire is this?

From another forum I frequent
Its the three bladed prop that confuses me.

I think you will find this is a Seafire Mk.Ib, which is a navalised version of the Spitfire MkVB, I believe the Mk.IIc had a four bladed prop

Only some the LF IIc and the FR IIc Seafires had four blade props. The F IIc had the three blade prop.

As the illustrated Spitfire has a universal armament wing and we can’t see the Coffman bulge, take your pick F.IIc or LF IIc.

You have to be a registered user of that forum to see the photo. However, early Seafires did have 3-bladed props.
