Dear friends !
I should like to get some help from Percival Proctor aircraft experts about the following subject:
– were there any civil Percival Proctor airplanes, registered in Ceylon (with 4R- – or, maybe, another – prefixes) ?
If this fact was true – any illustrations are welcome !
Best regards,
Flyer.

possibly either Irag or Iran which I think had a number of civil Mk V’s post war.
Why MkV exactly ? Why not MkI, or MkIII, or MkIV – maybe, even ex-military ?

I had a quick flick through a couple of old Air Britain registers, only middle / far eastern civil Proctors that I could find were AP-AHA in Pakistan ex NP211. Along with a batch in Jordan TJ-AAK, AAL, AAM,AAN, AAO.

Thank You very much, mr Consul, for fast answer !
I think, You have this book. Can I ask more questions ?
What about civil Percival Proctor planes, registered probably in Iraq, Greece, Burma, Hong Kong, Malaya/Singapore and Morocco ?
Consul has answered as I would have. I am not aware of any Proctor Marks registered in these countries apart from possibly either Irag or Iran which I think had a number of civil Mk V’s post war.
There is a possibility of French Morocco also, I would need to check my books to be absolutely certain. India had and still has a dilapidated Mk 4 or V in store which seems to have suffered terminal termite damage!

Ceylon used VP-Cxx until 1929, CY-xxx from 1948 and 4R-xxx since 1954. According to the comprehensive histories of Percival aircraft contained in the Air-Britain work “On The Wings Of A Gull” no Gulls or Proctors were registered in Ceylon.
