Slide scanners

I have a whole load of old slides needing scanning and whilst my HP flat scanner will take 5 at a time, it’s fiddly and the results are at best cr*p! Hideous colours etc and it takes ages to load up and there is high probability of damage when trying to persuade them out afterwards. I’m looking for something that is quick, accurate, easy to use, not too pricey and may possibly do negs as well. Does anyone have any recommendations from personal experience?
