Arthur Bentley Tempest Drawings

By a stroke of good luck I have managed to contact Mr Bentley and he is indeed alive and well.

There is a problem with his website which he is aware of but hasn’t changed as he has a new site under construction. He hopes to have this operational soon.

He also has a new printer that can handle A1 sheets

I tried to contact him several times to purchase some Tempest drawings to use as a basis for some book artwork a couple of years ago. I’m still waiting for a reply! In the end I found some ripped-off drawings on a Russian website and used those instead. His loss.

He was on his stall and looking well at the Scale Model World show in Telford last November.

Tempest Drawings

Has anyone here purchased drawings from or been in contact with Arthur Bentley recently?

I was hoping to buy some Tempest drawings but I haven’t had any response via his website.

Hope he’s OK. Arthur produces aircraft 3-view drawings that are virtual works of art.
I’ve got several large scale sets of his drawings but I’m not sure whether I’ve got the Tempest ones in large scale. If you are unsuccessful in reaching him and need help down the line, feel free to PM me. I know I’ve got the Tempest drawings but it may only be in 1/48.

I was in touch with him for a bit attempting to purchase some drawings about a year ago but after a few emails he seemed to disappear.

A short while ago his website was down so it’s good to see it’s back up again…
