ARLINGTON, Va., Nov. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — US Airways will assist
passengers whose travel plans were disrupted as a result of National Airlines’
cessation of service. US Airways will honor tickets issued to National
Airlines passengers who seek alternative accommodations. All reservations
must be made and ticketed by Jan. 6, 2003.
US Airways will accept tickets held by National Airlines customers for
travel on the originally ticketed route and on the date originally scheduled.
A National Airlines customer first must present proof of a ticketed
reservation on National Airlines by presenting an electronic ticket
confirmation, electronic ticket receipt, paper ticket or itinerary card at a
US Airways airport ticket counter or US Airways city ticket office. Seats may
not be available for all dates or from all cities. If seats are not available
on the original days of travel, US Airways will work to accommodate passengers
on alternative flights, within reason. Same-day standby travel for National
customers will be permitted. National Airline customers will be charged a $25
each way nonrefundable processing fee to have the ticket reissued by US
Airways.
