Fokker F.VII with little companions

And now for something a bit easier. Would you agree with me that close to the Fokker F.VII “Old Gold” (I confess smoking is deadly! – hope I don’t violate any tobacco advertising restrictions:D) in the first two pictures is a Pietenpol Air Camper? This little aircraft seems to be very variable. The wings may be supported by double I-(like in the pictures) or V-shaped struts. But there is no other picture to be found showing this pod on the upper wing.
I am sure about the third picture. The small aircraft aside the F.VII “Josephine Ford” is the Irwin Meteorplane.

The pictures are again from the SDASM account on flickr.com.

Thank you for interest + answers!

Regards, RT
