MAPS formally handed the Defiant back to the RAFM Hendon recently.
Photos and article here. They are currently restoring the Phoenix UAV ‘gate guardian’ for the BAe Systems factory across the airfield.

They currently don’t have a building large enough for an airframe of that size anyway. Currently there are two narrow sheds, one for a fuselage and the other for wings. with side workshops for engines etc. In which they manage their stunning restorations.
There are proposals to develop part of the airfield with better facilities for them, but that is in the future.
