Only follow this link if you truly have two or three hours to spare
Massive thread of images including Sally B as she was then, civil Halifax and Stirlings, the B25s from Catch 22, my previous aircraft, and all manner of aircraft you’d donate body parts to see flying today.

Yes, a truly wonderful collection of photographs. Brought back great memories.
First departed from terra firma there, 03 November 1952 bound for Nairobi, with few stops along the way. Airwork Viking G-AIXR……….
Be warned, as others have said, it can take a while……….!!!

I couldn’t agree more with the previous comment that this makes the perfect Sunday browsing. Blackbushe was the local airfield where my aircraft mad Father (no guesses where I get it from) would take me. At the time I was just as obsessed with getting him to buy me a mars bar, not appreciating the treasures on show as an under 10!
Thanks so much for providing this link and it has stirred many great memories. Now I really need to dig out that slide I have of me standing in front of one of the Sea Fury’s!

I’ve had a quick peek. What a treasure trove!! And some memories in there as well from the days I used to live a short drive away, as well as countless trips along the A30 adjacent. Great spotting fun in those days….:D
