Hi does anyone have a good contact for the group?

Does anyone know whether they hold any data on run-of-the-mill workers from WW2? I know that my grandmother worked there for a period c. 1940-42 before joining the WAAF, but that’s as much as anyone in the family knows.
Cheers,
Jeff

Can I add what a fantastic place it is. I was there last week, being guided round by John Wright, and he and all the guys down there, about 20 of them last Friday, are really friendly, and clearly highly skilled. I think the Coventry branch work there on Wednesdays. The workshop is huge and contains engines from all the branches of RR as well as many foreigners. (As far as I am concerned the star exhibit is the Sunbeam Cossack which is on loan from Duxford – Why?)
The Centre is open to visitors on Friday afternoons, just make an appointment and turn up at the gate. And it it no longer sited in a RR factory, which has been demolished around it.
