I am looking for a reliable forensic type of resource to identify the aircraft with some contents other than the aircraft itself.
So here is the scoop:
I will be in receipt of a photo of an axe and probably a photo of a revolver’ these photographs were taken underwater (the items were left on site) and found in the Adriatic sea in about 20 meters deep and about 1 mile off the coast south east from the island of Trimini.
The diver also mentioned that there is an aircraft, under the mud and silt, but he was not sure of the type.
For the time being, with these two items I am hoping to reveal the nationality/armed forces/and type of aircraft.

Sounds like an extremely long shot; such items were pretty much standard issue across the fleet.
