The Lashenden Air Warfare Museum’s Fieseler Fi103R-4 Reichenberg returned to the museum at 7.30am today following restoration in Germany.

Really sad news.
It just jarred with me, especially because the collection of the late Andy Cresswell is displayed at Headcorn. And Andy was murdered a few years ago by metal thieves whom he disturbed at his yard not far from Headcorn. They have never been caught.

Sad to hear on local TV news that metal thieves have stolen all the steel framework which had been stored in readiness for erecting a new display enclosure for the Reichenberg.

Great news! I think it must have been 1988 when I visited the museum last – about time for a re-visit methinks!
