Bristol Hercules Tool Part ID

Found this in a box of Gipsy Major parts and thought nothing of it until I spotted the FB part number on the main shaft. Anyone able to ID what it is or what it was used for?
Cheers

Cant help but i am interested in the Gipsy parts comment. I’m in NZ with a J5F Auster project with a Gipsy Major. Any Ali heads lying around you? 😀

Found the item which is described as an extractor No.23

Same here, I have a numbered list, but it only covers the flight tool kit.
Sorry!

Pete, apologies for delay, been overloaded at work 🙁

Part number reads F.B. 84343-1 Since then I have discovered a P&W tool of some sort in the boxes as well. This guy had rebuilt a Hercules and a Merlin that ran in his backyard (unsure if the neighbours appreciated it !) Also found a few more FB parts which will go into the box to add to the collection

Many thanks for all your help !

Bristol tool

Let me have a guess:

A puller for extracting sleeve drive crank bushes from a bearing panel.

It looks about the right size, also, there may be other attachments to fit to it to do the job.

Anon.
