‘Lakes Lightnings’ announces the change of ownership and imminent departure of Lightning F1 nose section XM144 from Cumbria to Atlantic AirVenture Park based at Shannon Airport, County Clare, Eire.
The road move is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 12th Feb 13 from Spark Bridge, Cumbria to the Hollyhead ferry terminal via Lytham St Annes to collect a replica Spitfire also joining their splendid, growing collection.

Take a look at their website for info as this is an up and comming Museum based at Shannon International Airport.
Buccaneer XX897 lives there along with a plethora of other cockpits and aviation related items.

Does the museum have any collecting policy or is it a commercial venture?
