RE: Travellers face yet more misey

Just got back from Majorca yesterday. I flew out to Palma on Sat 30 June and was very lucky to get away with just a 1hr 20 min delay with British Midland from East Midlands (F100). I was also being picked up at the airport so no need to join ther 4 hr wait.
The authorities had it organised as best they could in the situation but it shouldn’t have been allowed to get to that stage.
There has top be a better solution than strikes as they benefit nobody. This has again been seen with the Cathay Pacific pilot strike, with all European flights cancelled yesterday.
