RAF High Speed Flight Meteors – Info Needed

I’m looking for information on the service history and eventual fate of Meteors EE454 and EE455 after their use by Wilson and Greenwood for the 1945 speed record attempt. I suspect they may have been put back into standard trim, put into squadron service and scrapped at the end of their useful lives but if anyone can fill in the details I’d be most grateful.

I’d also be interested in the same details for EE550 after Waterton and Duke used it in the 1946 attempt. I know where EE549 is of course. 🙂

Thanks
Pete

I have a large file on all the Meteors including photographs, servive history and AM78s etc.

What do you require them for?
