My aunt was given a tail wheel which was definitely off a Hurricane. It looks to be AHO 5031 She is unlikely to cry if it isn’t. I can’t find the list which must be out there somewhere. On the surplus parts front, I wonder how many tail wheels were ever scrapped? Gardens and allotments the world over must have had smooth running wheelbarrows and verdant perspex covered greenery.

Thanks AM, just what we needed to know. Has there ever been a list of AHO codes for tail wheels on the forum? Seems to be a recurring thread.

Not sure what you’re asking but the wheel could also be from a Master, Martinet, Gladiator, Percival Q6 and “Brewster” (which one?).
I’ve got an ex-wheel barrow “Hurricane” tail wheel rotting out in the garden somewhere. Corroded alloy, perished rubber, it’ll end up in a skip one day.
