the spitfire is still there at hendon just the other side of the gift shop , i was there last week . the one at sun and fun florida is a great one too .

That was fairly recently, well for an old timer like me! Thinking more along the lines of an exhibit that was there through the 70s and up until 96?

Very impressive indeed thanks.
Anyone remember that there was a similar very faithful metal model in Hendon years ago (not sure if it still is) of the naked fuselage and center section (IIRC)
