Should anyone be thinking about a visit to RAFM Hendon in the New Year

Museum Closure Week

7th – 11th January 2013
The Museum is closed this week from 7th to 11th of January for its annual Spring Clean, whilst we assess our displays, undertake repairs and move aircraft around the site.

The Museum will be open again to the public from 10am on Saturday 12th of January when we will be displaying ‘Fresh Air’ in the Art Gallery and ‘RAF Photographer of the Year’ in oour Milestones of Flight Gallery.

Perhaps they will have the opportunity to screw their ‘new’ Defiant together!

Hopefully they will dust as well as the Vulcan and the B17 have very noticeable build up that does not ever seem to get less, it is odd as the other aircraft around them look quite clean but maybe it is due to their size?

Maybe they will be re homing the defiant at the same time?

Is that to empty the buckets collecting the rain water. That where their on friday 28 It was sad to see the museum so run down.
