Yeovilton 1971 Airshow

I know it was a long time ago and being a lad of 10 i can still remember my parents taking me to the airdisplay during the summer holidays.
I vividly recall [as probably many others do as well] a F4 Phantom taking off directly towards the crowd line and passing at very low level over our heads!.
It was more a thrill than a fright with tables chairs rugs and papers going everywhere let alone the deafing roar, i believe and still recall somewhere in my deep memory the F4 breaking the sound barrier as part of the display?.
Can anyone confirm or add to this from such a long time ago?.
